- Do you tattoo anyone under 18?
I do not tattoo anyone under 18, even with parental consent.
- Do you require deposits?
Yes, I take a R1000 non-refundable deposit to secure your booking. While it is non-refundable, if you give me 48h notice of cancellation or postponement we can carry over the deposit to your next appointment, where it will be deducted from the final cost of the tattoo.

-How far in advance should I book?
If you are wanting to get tattooed on a very specific day, I suggest booking 1 month in advance, however if you are flexible with your dates, 2 weeks should be sufficient.

Pricing:
-How much do tattoos cost?
I charge a starting price of R1200 for small tattoos, and a flat day rate of R7000 for full day sessions.
For anything in between I like to quote per piece, based on a pricing structure of R1500 per hour.

Aftercare & Healing
- How long does a tattoo take to heal?
Tattoos typically take 10 days to 2 weeks for the initial healing, and should be fully settled in 6 weeks to 2 months.

- Do you offer touch ups?
Yes, I offer free touch ups on my work, as I always want my work to look its best, and to provide you with the best possible service.

- Aftercare:
Your artist will go over this with you in detail after your appointment. In general, a tattoo will take ten days to two weeks to heal, and in the meantime should be treated like a sunburn or a scrape. The bandage your artist places on the tattoo should be left on for five hours at least or overnight, as this helps keep out airborne bacteria. Once the bandage is removed, wash the area with warm water and a gentle, non-scented soap. It’s best to use your bare hands for this, and not a cloth or anything else which might be overly abrasive. You can definitely shower with a new tattoo, just avoid soaking it in water (pools, hot tubs, and the ocean are not okay ).
After washing your new tattoo let it air dry for half an hour, and then apply a small amount of aqueous cream. The aqueous cream can be applied twice daily, throughout the healing period of your tattoo. This will enrich the skin and aid in the healing. After a few days the skin over and around your tattoo will begin to flake and peel – let this happen naturally. Avoid picking at the tattoo or scratching it. The itching may be really annoying, but it just means your body is healing properly.
